Measuring your team's knowledge and skills level

Contractor's tool

Contractors, this is for you. There is no question that your most valuable tool is the people who work for you. Without people, the best tools don't matter. And if your people are not adequately trained. The best tools still don't matter. Your best tools are trained people. Please do me a favor, though don't call people tools as I did in this introduction. We make this comparison only to emphasize how important your people are for your business. Without people, you don't have a business. With untrained people working in the field, your business will suffer and eventually shut down.

Testing your team's knowledge and skillset

Before you know your team's needs, you need to know your team's needs. No, that's not a mistake. Before you know the size of a roof, you must break out the tape measure and measure it. We offer you the ability to measure your team's knowledge and skillsets. It's a simple process that takes as much time as the person needs.

Your team will come in, take a few tests and do some hands-on work. The test will show your team where they need to study up—using their Study Prescription to study until they pass the test. Then they will do some hands-on work in front of an evaluator.

Credentials matter

When your team is finished going through this process. Each one will receive the same credentials and the same verifiable official transcript. That means they'll also get a hard copy of their certificate. A wallet card with its NCCER number can be used to verify and validate your team members' credentials.

We are the best

Having a verifiable credential proves your team is knowledgeable and skilled. It will help you market your company. And it will make your team feel great. Knowing you cared about them enough to do this in the first place. Those wallet cards will improve morale: improved morale means better workmanship and fewer callbacks. Training is suitable for everyone.

Summary
  • People make your company run.
  • Training helps your people get better, feel better and do better.
  • We can help identify areas where training is needed.
  • Your team will be verifiably better, which will help you market your business.
